📋 Description

• We are a multi-disciplinary team creating a net new product line for Q2. • You will be the SRE responsible for setting up our bank-tough infrastructure, interfacing with the architecture team to make sure that we are using best practices and pipelines to keep our product compliant. • Support the definition of the architecture that needs to be SOC2 compliant and highly scalable to support demand. • To be the primary contributor of our IAC code that will be created using CDK with Typescript. • Create our build and deployment pipelines in a full CI/CD paradigm. • Interface with the Cloud Architecture teams to make sure that our infrastructure keeps evolving with the market. • Maintaining standards for secure, highly available infrastructure.

🎯 Requirements

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience primarily with AWS, Typescript and CDK or equivalent • 2+ years of professional experience with a public cloud provider (Azure, GCP, AWS) • 2+ years of professional experience working with CI/CD pipelines on any platform (GitLab, TeamCity, Jenkins, Azure- Devops ) • Proficiency in one or more programming ( e.g. C#, Java, Python, Typescript ) and scripting ( e.g. Bash, Python, Powershell ) languages • Empathy for the end user and a desire to measure your work by both the customer value and technical quality • A bias for action tempered with thinking about the implications of the work you're doing • Enthusiasm for the field and professional development/improvement outside the day-to-day job • Strong preference for automating repetitive manual tasks • 2+ years experience in a DevOps, Platform, or SRE role • 2+ years experience with an Infrastructure as Code technology (Terraform or similar) • 2+ years experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration technology • Experience with monitoring, logging, and dashboard technologies • Experience leading cross-team projects and mentoring other engineers
