📋 Description
• We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Business Intelligence (BI) Developer with expertise in Azure services and Power BI, specializing in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and database management. • In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining ETL workflows in Azure, managing Azure-based databases, and ensuring the seamless integration of data into Power BI for reporting and analytics. • The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with business stakeholders to ensure data is transformed and presented effectively, enabling data-driven decision-making. • Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Azure Data Factory, ETL (C#) scripting and other Azure services to integrate data from various sources into Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, or Azure Synapse Analytics. • Manage and optimize databases in Azure (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics), ensuring high availability, performance, and security. • Develop and optimize data models for Power BI, ensuring that reports and dashboards are based on accurate, high-quality data. • Transform, clean, and validate data using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, or Azure SQL to ensure it meets business needs. • Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes, ensuring data pipelines are efficient, reliable, and optimized. • Implement and manage data security policies in Azure, ensuring access controls and data protection best practices are followed. • Collaborate with data analysts and business users to define data requirements for Power BI reports and dashboards. • Create and maintain technical documentation related to Azure ETL processes, database management, and Power BI configurations. • Tune and optimize SQL queries and data models to improve performance for Power BI reports and dashboards. • Automate and streamline data integration workflows in Azure to reduce manual interventions and improve efficiency. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into effective ETL workflows and Power BI reports.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. • Proven experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake. • Strong expertise in SQL and database management within Azure environments (e.g., Azure SQL, Azure Synapse). • Solid experience in developing, optimizing, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards. • Hands-on experience with data transformation, integration, and automation using Azure services like Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Logic Apps. • Strong knowledge of Power Query and DAX for creating efficient data models and reports in Power BI. • Experience with data security and governance practices within the Azure ecosystem. • Knowledge of cloud data architecture, including data lakes, data warehousing, and integration patterns in Azure. • Proficiency in managing database performance, indexing, query optimization, and backup strategies within Azure. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
