Description

• Quora’s mission is to grow and share the world’s knowledge. • We are seeking a talented Staff Software Engineer to contribute to Poe, our exciting AI product. • Build cutting-edge features from scratch as a member of a team focused on improving the bot ecosystem and supporting bot creators on the platform. • Plan and implement new features, contribute to front-end and back-end development, and take shared ownership of the cross-functional product development cycle.

Requirements

• Ability to be available for meetings and impromptu communication during Quora's coordination hours (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time) • 7+ years of experience working with large scale codebases and systems, particularly web applications • 5+ years of experience working with React, Typescript, and GraphQL. • 5+ years experience in Python or similar programming language • A passion for learning and always improving yourself and the team around you • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
