• Would you like to be part of a team that is redefining our customers business? • Rackspace Technology is leading the next paradigm shift in cloud computing, and is looking for a world class candidate for the role of Presales Enterprise Solution Architect, driving Multi Service Line large deals, within our EMEA Public Cloud Presales team. • In this role, you'll be encouraged, supported and rewarded for doing what is right for the long-term success of the customer and our business. • As a key team member, you'll consult on deals, leveraging your technical expertise to transform business challenges into successful solutions. • Your role centres on driving sales growth, identifying opportunities with existing clients and acquiring new ones. • Ideal candidates bring both technical depth for CXO-level engagements and presales/sales proficiency to collaborate seamlessly with clients and internal teams. • You'll strategically tackle business, product, and technical issues, crafting compelling value propositions across various domains. • Comfortable discussing diverse topics, from infrastructure and DevOps to TCO and cloud strategy, you're a versatile problem solver. • Your responsibilities include leading the creation of proposals, benchmarks, pricing, and innovative commercial models, while building a top-tier enterprise architect team to support sales pursuits. • German language skills (C1/C2 or native) are essential.

Requirements

• 15 years of experience in Presales and Solution Engineering for services deals. • Proven experience in solutioning Platform, Infra, and Cloud services. • Proven experience as a Solution Architect in a leading IT or Professional Services organization. • Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect. • Strong technical knowledge in both professional and managed services. • Excellent understanding of Public Cloud services across AWS, Azure and GCP. • Good business and commercial acumen to handle pricing of complex deals. • Exceptional people skills: the ability to develop, mentor, engage and motivate staff to excellence. • Excellent creative problem-solving abilities, coupled with a desire to take on responsibility. • Strong communication skills: verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation. • Excellent time management, decision-making, and organization skills. • Ability to develop and communicate individual goals and executable tasks based on functional and strategic goals and objectives.
