Description

• This is a U.S. based position. All of the programs we support require U.S. citizenship to be eligible for employment. All work must be conducted within the continental U.S. • Raft is a customer-obsessed non-traditional small business focused on Distributed Data Systems, Platforms at Scale, and Complex Application Development. • Seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support our customers and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers. • Raft is building a platform for the DoD that enables operators and analysts to train custom computer vision models without any machine learning experience, using technologies like TypeScript, React, and Kubernetes.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience being hands on engineer • Extensive TypeScript and React experience • Experience creating web-socket and RESTFul APIs • Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch to handle low-latency requirements • Team player • Curious about working with imagery and video, especially from drones, satellites, and other military assets • Deep knowledge of software design and architecture patterns • Experience with building and releasing software in cloud-native environments (i.e. Kubernetes) • Able to obtain a Security+ certification within the first 90 days of employment with Raft • Bachelors in Computer Science / Engineering / Physics / Mathematics
