• The Channel Sales team is being established to capitalize on a significant opportunity within Rain: leveraging our extensive partner network to drive high-quality lead generation and referrals to sales. • This new lead will focus on building new key ecosystems of partners, collaborate with partners to strengthen and expand existing relationships, and create lead-generation opportunities with associations, industry partners, resellers, and more. • The Channel Sales Lead will serve as a central point of contact for our counterparts and partner sales and account manager teams. • This role involves coordinating co-selling initiatives with partner sales leads or referrals and acting as a liaison with our sales organization. • Building strong relationships directly with partner sales teams, including providing updates, reporting, and attending on-site meetings/events, is crucial. • The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing strategic partnerships, driving efficiency, and fostering mutually beneficial relationships that lead to success. • As needed, they will manage team members to help drive the relationships and leads from critical partners that are assigned. • The Channel Sales Lead will report directly to the VP of Channel Sales.
• 10+ years of channel sales, enterprise sales, and/or solutions selling experience, with a proven track record in a leadership role. • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding KPIs and targets. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and manage strategic relationships. • Extensive understanding of industry trends and the competitive landscape. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data analysis into strategic insights to drive partner strategy. • Highly motivated and proactive with the ability to work efficiently and effectively. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • A strategic thinker who is curious, resilient, and passionate about finding solutions to challenges. • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
