• Enhance your career at raSmith as a Structural Engineering Project Manager • Organize and manage structural design efforts for multiple simultaneous projects • Manage and review structural engineering drawings for assigned projects/work assignments • Review structural systems of primarily cold-formed steel framing • Manage Engineers and CAD/BIM Technicians to produce shop drawings, calculations and BIM models • Assist with training and mentoring team members • Communicate with clients and maintain project schedules and design budgets • Help lead business development efforts for cold-formed projects • Perform and lead the structural design of various building design projects. • Perform construction administration duties. • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Structural Engineering. • Minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience in structural design of cold-formed steel building structures. • Some experience with oversight is a plus. • Extensive knowledge of cold-formed steel design and strong working knowledge of AISI standards • Have ability to develop innovative solutions for complex problems • Leadership mentality and ability to work well with others. • Professional Engineer Licensure required. • Working knowledge of various structural analysis and design programs including CFS Designer & RISA. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • This is a remote position, must reside in Florida to be considered. • Applicable U.S. based work experience.
