📋 Description
• RCH Solutions is seeking a Senior Snowflake Architect to join our Data Engineering team. • In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize our Snowflake data architecture. • The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing complex ETL processes and optimizing database performance. • Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient Snowflake data architectures aligned with business requirements. • Develop data modeling strategies and implement best practices for Snowflake environments. • Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines to extract, transform, and load data into Snowflake. • Optimize data flows for performance and scalability. • Establish data governance standards, security controls, and access management protocols. • Integrate Snowflake with various third-party tools, data lakes, and data warehouses. • Mentor team members on Snowflake technologies and best practices.
🎯 Requirements
• A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Computer Science or related field • 5+ years of experience in data architecture or data engineering roles • Proven experience in developing and managing data solutions in Snowflake, including creating databases, schemas, tables, stages, file formats, and virtual warehouses. • Snowflake Core Certification • Strong understanding of cloud platforms and their integration with Snowflake, particularly cloud storage services (e.g., S3). • Proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling techniques • Experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools (such as Fivetran, dbt, Matillion, or similar) • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or Bash for data automation, orchestration, and integration tasks. • Knowledge of data modeling concepts (e.g., star schema, snowflake schema, normalization, denormalization). • Knowledge of data integration patterns and data pipeline development • Understanding of data governance principles and security best practices • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
