📋 Description
• RCX Sports is experiencing an explosive phase of growth, expanding its impact on youth sports across the country and into new international markets. • Through a platform-driven approach, we empower a growing network of League Operators to deliver safe, organized, and fun recreational league experiences. • The Director, Engineering plays a crucial role in aligning technology with business goals by ensuring efficient, scalable, and high-quality software development. • By leading a high-performing engineering team, this role directly contributes to faster product innovation, improved system reliability, and overall business scalability. • You will be responsible for overseeing the technical direction, development, and delivery of software projects within the engineering team.
🎯 Requirements
• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. • Preferred: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience with proven leadership in software development. • 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role. • Expertise in backend development, cloud infrastructure, and database management. • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as PHP, Python, Java, or Node.js. • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices. • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
