📋 Description
• The Engineering Manager will lead our engineering team in the development and execution of all commercial and utility-scale solar projects. • This role involves managing a team of engineers and overseeing end-to-end technical design, engineering, procurement and construction processes.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) • 7+ years of experience in engineering in the renewables industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership/management role • Expertise in solar plant equipment, including PV modules, racking systems, inverters and electrical balance of plants • Expertise in NEC codes • NABCEP, PV Installation Professional Certification a plus • Experience reviewing civil, structural, or electrical engineering design packages • Proficiency with PVSyst, System Advisory Model (SAM) programs, AutoCAD, PVcase, ArcGIS, Helioscope, and Aurora Solar is a plus • Experience managing third-party due diligence studies and energy production estimates • Ability to multi-task and manage deliverables for multiple projects at a time • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, time management, and problem-solving skills • Travel required up to 40% • Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
