Description

• Establishes the team's objectives and project goals, ensuring alignment with the company's broader objectives • Supervises and leads a team of engineers, ensuring that project deliverables are met on time and within budget • Actively involved in recruiting, training and developing team members, fostering a productive and growth-oriented environment • Collaborates with other technical leaders to align technology strategies with company objectives, contributing to the overall technical direction • Effective in defining and achieving clear team objectives and project milestones • Leadership in guiding the team to successful project delivery, within time and budget constraints • Success in recruiting, mentoring and developing engineering talent within the team • Contributing to the alignment of technology strategies with wider company objectives

Requirements

• Degree/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines • Experience in team leadership • A solid understanding of how web applications work, including security, session management and development best practices • Knowledge of Domain Oriented Design • Knowledge of microservices architecture is an advantage • Proven ability to design complex distributed applications designed for high performance and throughput, while being scalable and reliable • Development experience using Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kafka and AWS • Experience with asynchronous programming • Proven experience in profiling and performance tuning Java applications and using monitoring tools to monitor production applications
