Description

• responsible for delivering effective legal services to clients • adept at handling significant legal projects, matters, and issues • requires very good to excellent technical legal skills and expertise • proficient in making business-oriented yet legally compliant recommendations • expected to solve straightforward and complex problems • able to juggle multiple matters, effectively multi-task and prioritize • expected to work in the midst of change and shift priorities • seeks out challenging tasks and engages in development discussions

Requirements

• Law Degree - must be a graduate of an accredited law school and admitted into the state bar • minimum of 10 years of experience as a lawyer • expertise in pharmaceutical law, contracts and commercial law, and health law • strong background in the pharmaceutical industry’s laws (including Anti-Kickback statute, False Claims Act, DSCSA, 340B) • significant knowledge of healthcare, regulatory and corporate law including SEC, FTC and FDA regulations and procedures, litigation, anti-trust laws, and contract negotiation and preparation • background working for a generic pharmaceutical manufacturer, pharmacy or healthcare company • ability to lead negotiations, strategy development and implementation • experience in the sourcing of generic pharmaceutical and private label products and working on related distribution and quality agreements • knowledge of state and federal drug pricing laws and 340B a plus • ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing • strength in interpersonal and leadership skills • excellent judgment and ability to resolve complex issues effectively • strong drafting and negotiating skills • strong presentation skills • strong organizational skills; attention to detail
