β€’ Reddit is a community of communities focusing on robust automated deployment systems. β€’ The Deployment Infrastructure team aims to deploy services globally and manage release artifacts. β€’ This role involves building software to ensure reliable, efficient deployments and automated rollback.

Requirements

β€’ 5+ years of experience working in the infrastructure and/or deployment domain. Specifically with a focus on software engineering (as opposed to systems operations) β€’ Language proficiency in either Go (Preferred), Rust, or Python. β€’ Experience developing on top of Kubernetes or similar distributed systems. β€’ Experience utilizing systems in the continuous delivery domain such as Argo, Flux, Temporal, and similar systems. β€’ Strong troubleshooting competency ranging from higher-level orchestration concerns to lower-level runtime ones. β€’ Experience designing large systems, scoping work, and building consensus with other engineers. β€’ Excellent communication skills to collaborate with a service-oriented team and company.
