Description

• Collaborate with sales and technical delivery teams to bring our customers the best solutions from the Red Hat portfolio including platform, cloud, management, automation and application development • Discover and analyze customers' business and technical problems; apply appropriate Red Hat solutions to address their needs • Provide pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex services and solutions • Provide trusted thought leadership both internally and with our customers • Use deep product and industry knowledge to provide technical expertise to sales staff and the customer through sales presentations and product demonstrations • Follow standard practices and procedures for analyzing situations or data

Requirements

• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI and a minimum of a CI polygraph (current) • 10+ years of experience in sales engineering, consulting, IT architecture, or equivalent supporting strategic accounts • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a record of developing relationships at engineering, program management and executive levels • Experience working with modern development practices like DevOps or continuous integration • Strong work ethic - ability to work in a field environment with frequently shifting priorities • Must be local to the Washington DC Metropolitan area. Candidates outside of the DC / MD / VA area will not be considered • Willingness to travel up to 50%, sometimes on short notice
