Description

• Provide personalized, proactive technology engagement and guidance for enterprise customers • Cultivate high-value relationships with clients using Red Hat's portfolio of products • Provide premium advisory-based support for customer environments • Facilitate collaboration with vendors and advocate on the customer's behalf • Work closely with Engineering, R&D, Product Management, Global Support, Sales & Services teams • Perform technical reviews & share knowledge to identify & prevent issues • Understand customers' technical infrastructures • Manage customer cases and maintain clear and concise documentation • Ensure customer satisfaction with each engagement • Engage with field teams to ensure positive technology experience • Communicate Red Hat solutions that align to customer use cases • Capture product capabilities and identify gaps • Help develop solution patterns based on customer engagements • Share knowledge and best practices internally and serve as a mentor • Travel to visit customers, partners, and events as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in science or a technical field; engineering or computer science • Competent reading and writing skills in English • Ability to convey information to customers in a clear and concise manner • Ability to effectively manage and grow existing enterprise customer and partner relationships by delivering best-in-class support • Advanced troubleshooting and debugging skills, with a passion for problem solving and investigation • Upstream involvement in open source projects (patches submitted for upstream) is a plus • Red Hat OpenStack Platform (RHOSP) • Fundamental understanding of the OpenStack, Container architecture, and administration experience across all working components • Deep understanding and troubleshooting skills on OpenStack core components. • Deployment and troubleshooting experience of Openstack cluster on bare metal or non-bare metal environments. • Planning, Designing, and implementation of Openstack products on various hardware. • Technical and Deep understanding of Ceph cluster storage and its functionalities. • Experience with Linux operating system installation, configuration, upgrade, and maintenance. • Technical knowledge of the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform and its components is a plus • RHEL Experience as a support or development engineer for Platform as a Service Provider or Hosting Service • Proven & strong experience with Red Hat Linux, other Linux platforms, or Unix operating systems • Red Hat Linux operating system installation, configuration, upgrade, and maintenance experience in a production environment is mandatory • Experience in a support, development, engineering, or quality assurance organization • Ability to manage and grow existing enterprise customer relationships by delivering proactive, relationship-based support • Direct experience with a variety of hardware vendors • Understanding of enterprise-class applications like Oracle, Veritas, and SAP
