As a QA Analyst, you’ll play a crucial role in our Agile development team, bringing your expertise in SDLC, WordPress development, and front-end technologies to the table. You’ll be the gatekeeper of quality, ensuring that our products not only meet but exceed expectations. • Champion Quality: Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate comprehensive testing activities to guarantee the highest standards. • Innovate with Automation: Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using cutting-edge open-source tools. • Collaborate in Sprints: Be an active participant in daily sprints, contributing your insights to help the team move forward. • Document Excellence: Create thorough documentation on the development and content update processes, ensuring clarity and consistency. • Ensure QA in Tickets: Contribute to ticket creation, making sure all QA needs are clearly detailed before development begins. • Review and Approve: Carefully review tickets, changes, and updates in both staging and live environments, ensuring everything from content updates to responsiveness is flawless. • Test Everything: From site functionality to internal tools, you’ll test it all—menus, forms, automations, and more. • Evaluate and Suggest: Investigate code fixes and suggest the best solutions to ensure quality. • Track and Resolve Bugs: Identify, document, and thoroughly track bugs, following up with stakeholders to ensure fixes are tested and implemented. • Regression Testing: Perform meticulous regression testing when bugs are resolved, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks. • Think Critically: Apply your critical thinking skills and unwavering attention to detail in every aspect of your work. • Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest testing tools and strategies to continuously improve our processes. • Be Reliable: Be available during established work hours and ready to jump into action during emergencies.
• Detail-Oriented Mindset: Impeccable attention to detail is a must. • Educational Background: BSCS or equivalent technical degree, with 3+ years of QA experience. • Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with WordPress CMS, software development, and software quality assurance. • QA Knowledge: Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, with experience in both white box and black box testing. • Automation Skills: Proven experience with automated testing tools. • Source Control Proficiency: Experience with GIT and a solid grasp of web server technologies such as Apache, Nginx, cPanel, and MySQL. • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Team Spirit: A great attitude, sense of humor, and a collaborative spirit.
