Description
•At Remotebase, we are on a mission to redefine remote work. •As a Senior Python Developer with a focus on FastAPI, you will design and implement high-performance web services. •Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will enhance our product offerings, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and secure. •Develop and maintain high-quality APIs using FastAPI. •Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. •Collaborate with product managers and front-end developers. •Conduct code reviews. •Design, build, and maintain efficient and reusable code. •Implement security best practices. •Troubleshoot and debug applications. •Stay updated with the latest trends in software development.
Requirements
•Strong experience with Python and a deep understanding of web frameworks such as FastAPI, Django •Good to have Ruby on Rails and ASP.NET. •5+ years of professional experience in software development with a focus on backend programming. •Experience with building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. •Proficiency in relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL and ORM frameworks. •Familiarity with cloud services like AWS and Azure. •Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform). •Proficient in source control management (Git) and CI/CD practices. •Excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to troubleshoot complex systems. •Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment. •Experience with asynchronous programming and handling background tasks in Python. •Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
