📋 Description
• Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch • Convert design mockups (Figma, Adobe XD, etc.) into fully functional websites • Build fast, secure, and scalable WordPress websites • Ensure ongoing maintenance, updates, and technical optimization • Troubleshoot issues, perform debugging and write clean documentation • Collaborate with a French-based project manager via tools such as Slack, ClickUp, and Notion • Manage development environments (local/staging/production) independently
🎯 Requirements
• Minimum 5 years experience as a WordPress developer • Strong skills in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL • Excellent command of the WordPress ecosystem (custom post types, hooks, filters, ACF, WP-CLI, etc.) • Ability to develop custom plugins and themes with no reliance on page builders • Solid understanding of technical SEO, performance optimization, and security best practices • Proficient with version control tools (Git) • Highly autonomous, organized, and capable of managing tasks without constant supervision • Fluent in English (French is a plus but not mandatory)
