Description
• The Payroll Accounting Specialist is responsible for accurately processing and managing payroll transactions. • The role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in payroll processing and accounting principles. • Manage employee benefit contributions, garnishments, and other deductions. • Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and inquiries from employees.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. • 3+ years of experience in payroll processing, accounting, or a similar role. • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex), Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop and/ or Netsuite • Strong understanding of payroll and accounting principles. • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills. • Strong communication skills and ability to handle confidential information. • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification. • Experience with ERP systems and general ledger accounting. • Knowledge of multi-state payroll processing and tax regulations.
