Description

• The position is fully and permanently remote–no office time is required (but significant interaction with and support from colleagues is available). • Build relationships with small business clients, prepare and review returns, assisting on all business matters including tax, accounting, and other business situations as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor in Accounting or related field • 3 to 5 years of recent public accounting experience • Prepare tax returns for individual, corporate, and fiduciary clients • Review assigned tax returns for proper data entry and tax compliance • Proactively develop solutions for tax issues • Perform tax planning • Perform some accounting work • Maintain and improve client relationships • Skilled at interacting with clients through whatever method the client prefers (email, phone, and Zoom) • CPA preferred but will accept CPA in process or EA
