📋 Description

• Provide strategic financial insights and lead key accounting processes. • Preparation of accurate financial statements, including consolidated reports for multi-entity organizations. • Coordinating internal and external audits. • Developing financial controls to safeguard assets. • Overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. • Preparing detailed financial reports and presentations for clients. • Driving strategic initiatives to enhance financial reporting processes. • Assisting in the audit process. • Assisting in tax preparation and filing. • Work with general accounting functions including payroll, AR/AP, reconciliations, etc. • Providing mentorship to junior accountants. • Collaborating with teams to develop budgets and financial strategies. • Staying informed about changes in accounting regulations.

🎯 Requirements

• CPA or in the process of obtaining a CPA license is preferred. • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (master’s preferred). • 3-5+ years of progressive professional experience in accounting, all within a public accounting/CPA firm. • Advanced knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and compliance standards. • Proficiency in accounting software. • Exceptional analytical skills with a proven track record of identifying and resolving financial discrepancies. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to senior leadership and stakeholders. • Expertise in financial modeling and advanced Excel functions (nice-to-have). • Prior experience in audits and ensuring compliance with evolving financial regulations (nice-to-have). • Industry-specific expertise (e.g., healthcare, manufacturing, non-profit finance, etc.). (nice-to-have)
