• This is a remote position. • The company is a leader in ventilation hygiene, fire safety, and compliance solutions, serving commercial and industrial clients across the UK. • As part of our client’s strategic expansion, they are developing a dedicated Fire & Security division and are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth in this area. • This role requires a self-starter with deep industry expertise, who understands the commercial, compliance, and technical aspects of fire and security systems. • Identify, target, and win new business opportunities across the commercial, industrial, and public sectors. • Promote and sell a full range of Fire & Security solutions, including: Fire detection and alarm systems, CCTV & access control, Emergency lighting, Intruder alarms & monitoring, Fire suppression & safety compliance.
• Proven track record in business development within the Fire & Security industry. • Strong technical knowledge of fire protection, life safety, and security systems. • Understanding of BS 5839, BS 5266, EN 54, and UK Fire & Security regulations. • Experience working with contractors, facilities management companies, and commercial property clients. • Established industry contacts and a strong network of decision-makers and influencers. • Hunter mentality – confident in generating and converting leads into high-value contracts. • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills. • Ability to work autonomously in a remote role, managing your own sales pipeline. • Excellent commercial acumen with experience in pricing and contract management. • Self-motivated, target-driven, and proactive in identifying and securing new business.
