Description

β€’ Responsible for managing payroll functions, handling tax filings, and overseeing various HR duties. β€’ Process bi-weekly payroll for employees accurately and on time. β€’ Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. β€’ Ensure compliance with Los Angeles and New York employment laws. β€’ Conduct regular audits to ensure HR policies are up-to-date and compliant.

Requirements

β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferred. β€’ Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll processing, tax compliance, and HR administration. β€’ Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, or similar), Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. β€’ Strong understanding of California and New York labor laws, payroll tax regulations, and HR best practices. β€’ Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting. β€’ Must be based in Los Angeles and have a reliable internet connection for remote work.
