Description

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop integration strategies aligned with organizational goals and industry standards. • Design, develop, and implement integration solutions to connect disparate systems. • Develop data transformation scripts and workflows to facilitate the exchange of data. • Working knowledge of EDI, HL7 FHIR and other healthcare specific message formats. • Develop testing strategies and conduct thorough testing of integration solutions to ensure reliability, scalability, and compliance with regulatory requirements. • Identify and troubleshoot integration issues, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement effective resolutions. • Support configuration set up, maintenance and management. • Create comprehensive documentation for integration solutions, including design specifications, implementation guides, and operational procedures. • Perform data mapping and transformation tasks to ensure compatibility and consistency between different data formats and structures. • Contribute to the EDI team on projects/tasks and initiatives to support the organization. • Provide work estimates for development of new features and projects. • Assess existing systems, identify integration opportunities, and devise plans to optimize data flow. • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation to enhance integration capabilities and address evolving business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required. • Extensive experience (5+ years) in software development, system integration, and healthcare IT. • Proficiency in integration technologies and standards, including APIs, HL7, XML, and JSON. • Hands-on experience with integration platforms such as Mirthconnect, MuleSoft, informatica, Boomi, Actian etc. • Solid understanding of healthcare data standards, interoperability frameworks, and regulatory requirements. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Ability to lead integration projects, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and deliver high-quality solutions within defined timelines. • Experience with cloud-based integration solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform). • Knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools used in healthcare settings. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies for software development.
