Description

• Responsible for reviewing coded accounts for accuracy. • Analyze information and provide feedback to coders. • Prepare quality reports for distribution. • Assist with coding policies and procedures documentation. • Train and coach team members to improve performance. • Identify and escalate process breakdowns. • Comply with HIPAA and ethical coding standards. • Contribute positively to company culture.

Requirements

• Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) license or similar required. • Minimum five (5) years of medical coding and/or coding quality experience. • Understanding of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, HCPCS. • Must complete mandatory continuing education. • Excellent communication skills required. • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
