Description

• Assist with month end close • Prepare, review, and post journal entries • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and expense accounts • Recording and reporting of accruals and prepaids • Assist with annual audit schedules • Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies and issues of non-compliance • Ensure all transactions comply with company’s internal controls, policies, and procedures • Assist in the annual budgeting process • Identify and implement process improvements to improve the efficiency of various processes • Assisting with other ad hoc projects in accounting and finance • Other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field • Minimum of 3-5 years of direct experience • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Must be detail-oriented with strong organization and problem-solving skills • Possesses a collaborative, professional attitude with a strong work ethic • Inherently self-motivated, works with a sense of urgency and the ability to multi-task • Ability to work with minimum supervision to complete daily tasks accurately and on time • Desire to go outside comfort zone by assisting with projects and taking on additional responsibilities • Experience with streamlining processes and creating efficiencies, a plus • Proficient in Excel, including but not limited to pivot tables, vlookups, and advanced formulas • Experience with Business Central and PowerBI a plus
