β€’ The Sales Manager is responsible for driving group room nights and catering revenue for Rio Las Vegas β€’ Maintain exceptional customer service at every interaction β€’ Build and maintain strong customer relationships β€’ Solicit new group business within defined territory β€’ Meet or exceed established quarterly and annual goals β€’ Understand and communicate market trends with the team β€’ Generate and receive RFPs, evaluate profitability β€’ Negotiate contract language and business terms β€’ Turnover files to services teams thoroughly and timely β€’ Create and execute a strategic plan for business development β€’ Participate in team training and growth opportunities

Requirements

β€’ Minimum five years of progressive hospitality sales experience β€’ Long-term relationship management β€’ Ability to travel and work nights and weekends as business strategies and levels demand β€’ Home office setup free of distraction during business hours β€’ Strong organizational skills, solution-driven, analytical thinker β€’ Strong drive towards personal accountability and self-motivation β€’ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite β€’ Excellent written and oral communication skills β€’ Proactive with an attention to details β€’ Able to set priorities, work schedules, and meet department deadlines β€’ High School Diploma or GED (required) β€’ At least 21 years of age
