Description

• The Sales Manager is responsible for driving group room nights and catering revenue for Rio Las Vegas • Maintain exceptional customer service at every interaction • Build and maintain strong customer relationships • Solicit new group business within defined territory • Meet or exceed established quarterly and annual goals • Understand and communicate market trends with the team • Generate and receive RFPs, evaluate profitability • Negotiate contract language and business terms • Turnover files to services teams thoroughly and timely • Create and execute a strategic plan for business development • Participate in team training and growth opportunities

Requirements

• Minimum five years of progressive hospitality sales experience • Long-term relationship management • Ability to travel and work nights and weekends as business strategies and levels demand • Home office setup free of distraction during business hours • Strong organizational skills, solution-driven, analytical thinker • Strong drive towards personal accountability and self-motivation • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Proactive with an attention to details • Able to set priorities, work schedules, and meet department deadlines • High School Diploma or GED (required) • At least 21 years of age
