• Building and maintaining constructive and effective relationships with internal and external customers by meeting and exceeding expectations • Fostering an environment of personal accountability by managing appropriate system records of service, marketing, and policy communications with clients and carriers in Applied Epic accordingly • Nurturing professional relationships through the facilitation of personal client meetings and consistent client contact • Participating in the retention of renewal business • Interacting with the Account Executive and Account Manager to prepare coverage specifications, applications, underwriting data and related information in the marketing of insurance products • Creating client and prospect presentations in Microsoft Word and Excel • Supporting the implementation of new clients and lines of coverage by setting up accounts, collecting needed documentation, and reviewing plan details with Client and Carrier • Responsible for certificates of insurance, billing, endorsement requests, policy reviews and maintaining client exposure schedules

Requirements

• 3-5 years’ experience of Commercial Lines client management experience preferred but not mandatory • Valid VA P&C brokers’ license • College degree preferred • Proficient in insurance agency management systems, Applied Epic and Indio preferred • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills • Demonstrate proficiency in computer applications, esp. Microsoft Office Suite • Flexible, and able to work effectively under pressure, handling multiple tasks with interruptions and changing priorities • Exceptional organization and time-management skills
