📋 Description

• Oversee the preparation, review, and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring they accurately reflect the company’s financial position • Lead the annual financial statement audit and tax process, coordinating with internal and external teams to ensure all financial data is thoroughly reviewed and accurately represented in the financial statements • Oversee the processing of all vendor transactions, ensuring accurate recording of financial activities related to purchases and payments • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of the general ledger by maintaining consistent and accurate recording of transactions to ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with GAAP • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reports to management, offering data-driven insights into various business areas, including cost analysis, profitability, and operational efficiency • Design, implement, and monitor internal financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting • Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams, providing financial insights, recommendations, and actionable data to support business decision-making and strategic initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and internal control systems • Proven track record in managing and improving accounting and operational processes • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges and inefficiencies • Proficiency in accounting and operations management software (e.g., Netsuite, Quickbooks, BILL, Fyle, & project management tools). • Ability to develop, implement and review policies and procedures • Proficiency in Excel and advanced financial reporting tools
