📋 Description
• Upwork ($UPWK) is the world’s work marketplace. • Seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Revenue Accountant. • Responsible for analyzing revenue transactions, reconciling accounts, supporting the month-end close process, and ensuring the integrity of revenue-related financial data. • Work closely with Accounting, FP&A, Sales Operations, and external auditors on revenue accounting processes.
🎯 Requirements
• Marketplace or technology industry experience • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment • 4+ years of experience in revenue accounting or public accounting (Big 4 preferred) • CPA certification (or progress toward CPA) is highly preferred • Experience in a Public Company and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance • Solid knowledge of accounting policies/procedures and financial statements • Ability to resolve problems where analysis requires the in-depth evaluation of various factors
