• RP Professional Services is a rapidly growing Technology consulting firm headquartered in Virginia. • At RP, we help our clients achieve their mission by developing value driven solutions executed by the best people. • RP is seeking a DevOps Lead to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). • This role requires a highly skilled engineer with leadership experience who can guide teams in implementing and improving DevOps practices. • The DevOps Lead will play a critical role in ensuring stable and efficient CI/CD pipelines, promoting automation, and driving collaboration between development, operations, and security teams. • Responsibilities include leading and mentoring DevOps engineers, designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, overseeing cloud infrastructure, and guiding Agile development practices.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure Devops, or Gitlab CI/CD. • Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar. • Advanced proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. • Expertise in containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. • Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles, security frameworks, and best practices. • Excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills. • Must be eligible to undergo and pass a Public Trust clearance. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps or Automation role, with at least 2 years in a leadership position. • Proven track record of implementing CI/CD pipelines and managing cloud infrastructure. • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical solutions. • Experience supporting data analytics platforms or IT infrastructure in a government or enterprise environment. • DevOps certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Associate, or equivalent. • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and IT service management practices.
