Description

• Ruby Labs is looking for a data-savvy risk analyst who loves turning complex data into actionable insights. • Monitor fraud and dispute patterns across merchant accounts while crafting recommendations for healthy risk metrics. • Collaborate with stakeholders and develop early warning systems for risk metrics.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in risk analysis, fraud prevention, or a similar role. • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail. • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling). • Working knowledge of SQL for data querying and analysis. • Experience with JSON data parsing and manipulation. • Experience with data visualization and reporting. • Ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Experience working with multiple stakeholders. • Proactive problem-solving approach. • Understanding of payment processing and risk metrics (nice to have). • Experience with high-risk merchant accounts (nice to have). • Background in subscription-based business models (nice to have). • Knowledge of card scheme compliance programs (nice to have). • Experience with Tableau or similar BI tools (nice to have). • Familiarity with payment processors (Stripe, PayPal, etc.) (nice to have). • Understanding of payment orchestration platforms (nice to have). • Experience with fraud prevention tools (Ethoca, Verifi) (nice to have).
