Description

β€’ The responsibilities are approximately 20% administrative and 80% accounting. β€’ Accounting duties will be for the operating entity of a venture capital firm and for other entities owned and managed by the General Partners: β€’ Process payment to vendors using Bill.com. β€’ Process company payroll. β€’ Process expense reports and credit card statements timely and accurately using Expensify. β€’ Reconcile monthly bank accounts. β€’ Issue invoices to customers and related entities. β€’ Issue 1099’s at year end. β€’ Other tax filings such as property and business license filings. β€’ Set up wires when requested by the CFO or the GP. β€’ Prepare books and budgets for various entities and projects. β€’ Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner using QuickBooks On-Line. β€’ Manage all executive level administrative tasks which includes conference calls, meetings, and arrangement of domestic and international travel (once it resumes). β€’ Be responsible for heavy calendar management, requiring interaction with both internal and external executives and assistants to coordinate a variety of complex executive meetings. β€’ Arrange travel schedule and reservations for Partners as needed (once it resumes). β€’ Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and follow through on issues in a timely manner. β€’ Work closely with the Partners to coordinate and launch hard copy or email campaigns to potential investors. This includes coordinating Zoom type conference calls as well. β€’ Interact with IT professional on behalf of the executive team when needed. β€’ Undertake other tasks and projects, as needed.

Requirements

β€’ Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. β€’ High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. β€’ Self-Starter, who is comfortable working alone or in collaboration. β€’ Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task. β€’ Ability to communicate clearly and maintain a professional demeanor. β€’ Strong work ethic and positive attitude. β€’ QuickBooks On-Line experience and proficiency strongly preferred. β€’ Proficient in Expensify and Bill.com. β€’ Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Calendaring software.
