📋 Description

• This role is part of our ScraperAPI team, one of our growing brands at saas.group. • ScraperAPI is an enterprise scale web scraping tool that handles proxies, browsers, and CAPTCHAs. • We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our small and focused engineering team. • Enhance the scalability and fault tolerance of our large-scale infrastructure that gets 1 billion+ requests a week. • Lead the transition of services from DigitalOcean to Hetzner, ensuring minimal disruption. • Develop and implement robust disaster recovery and redundancy strategies. • Strengthen security measures to protect against continuous threats and attacks. • Identify and implement cost-reduction opportunities without compromising performance or security. • Work closely with development teams, with potential involvement in AI projects.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience with cloud platforms; familiarity with DigitalOcean and Hetzner is advantageous. • Proficiency in Kubernetes for managing large-scale deployments. • Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript; knowledge of Python and Ruby is a plus. • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Redis. • Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning. • Solid understanding of Linux systems. • Experience in setting up and maintaining continuous integration and deployment workflows. • Ability to implement and manage security best practices in cloud environments.
