Description

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Software Architects and Engineers to translate business requirements into efficient database designs. • Design and optimize databases to support online transactional and Master Data Management solutions. • Utilize modern data modeling tools to perform both logical and physical data modeling. • Provide guidance on data persistence strategies using AWS cloud relational databases, NoSQL databases, and caching solutions. • Promote data literacy across the organization by implementing and managing a data catalog solution. • Collaborate with Data Management and InfoSec teams to ensure the integrity, quality and security of all data.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree of Science in Computer Sciences, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience. • Minimum 5 years software architecture and design experience. • Minimum 10 years relational database design and data normalization experience. • Excellent collaboration and verbal and written communication skills. • Experience working in an agile/scrum environment with several teams concurrently. • Experience with modern data modeling tools like DbSchema, Vertabello or ERBuilder. • Experience with modern relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL or extensive experience with established relational databases like Oracle or SQL Server. • An understanding of Data Governance concerns including data privacy, security and retention.
