Description

• SAM Labs is an award-winning EdTech start-up. • SAM Labs inspires generations of problem solvers with Coding and STEAM. • The Senior Accountant will oversee and manage daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, directing close processes, and enhancing financial systems. • This role includes legal- and insurance-related responsibilities as well as HR support activities. • Join us to scale the team, develop processes and insights, and help achieve revenue targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations. • Experience managing business registration in the US. • Experience with NetSuite and TriNet. • Understanding of SaaS business models. • Startup experience preferred. • Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills. • Experience with financial reporting, month-end/year-end close processes, and regulatory reporting. • Administrative skills proficiency and attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. • Experience working with external auditors and managing insurance brokers is a plus. • Fluent in English
