Description
• Senior Back-End Developer with TypeScript, AWS services, and infrastructure-as-code tools • Responsible for enhancing backend architecture, designing scalable solutions, implementing infrastructure best practices • Collaborate with the Lead Developer and Director of Product to define requirements • Architect and develop scalable, secure, and maintainable server-side code • Design/build RESTful and GraphQL APIs using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and TypeScript • Optimize data models and access patterns for AWS DynamoDB and MySQL • Implement and manage secure authentication/authorization systems using AWS Cognito • Integrate and scale event-driven messaging systems with AWS SQS • Utilize Serverless Framework to deploy and manage serverless applications on AWS • Manage and automate infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt • Identify performance bottlenecks, enhancing system reliability and scalability • Write, review, and maintain unit tests for code quality
Requirements
• 4+ years in backend development focusing on TypeScript/JavaScript • Proficient in AWS services like Lambda, DynamoDB, Cognito, SQS, AppSync • Experience in SQL and NoSQL databases, optimizing data models • Advanced understanding of serverless infrastructure with Serverless Framework • Hands-on experience with Terraform and Terragrunt for infrastructure automation • Proficient in building and maintaining RESTful (NestJS) and GraphQL APIs • Knowledge of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices • Experience working in Agile environments, using tools like Git for version control • Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to tackling technical challenges • Excellent collaboration skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively • Driven to keep learning and improving, willing to take on new challenges
