Description
• Edit video stories that are compelling, engaging, clear, and true to brand identity • Ingest and back-up raw footage captured in the field • Create b-roll stringouts and clean question-to-answer interview exports for transcription • Collaborate with various teams in Global Communications to plan and script projects • Color correct, sound mix, and export correctly-formatted deliverable files • Anticipate and troubleshoot technical issues that may arise • Continuously improve post-production processes • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles.
Requirements
• 5 years experience in Adobe Premiere or other editing software • 3 years with proficiency in Adobe After Effects and working with motion graphics files • Strong understanding of storytelling over a variety of formats • Strong technical understanding of codecs, transcoding, and proxies • Ability to remain a patient, helpful, communicative collaborator • Ability to quickly interpret and adapt to feedback from multiple stakeholders • Travel required up to 25%.
