β€’ Samsara is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Sales Engineering Manager focused on our EMEA Select business. β€’ This position requires travel up to 30-40% of the time. β€’ Role located in the UK or Midland (France, Germany, Netherlands). β€’ Hire, develop and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high performing Sales Engineering team. β€’ Manage individual and team performance ensuring our partnership with sales, product, support and customer success teams are productive and efficient. β€’ Work with Account Executives and Regional Sales Directors on account planning, strategy and sales call activity. β€’ Manage escalations (product issues, feature requests, etc.) in a pre-sales environment. β€’ Participate in customer / prospect calls as a trusted advisor. β€’ Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles as we scale globally and across new offices.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ B.S. degree in Computer Science or similar β€’ 3+ years of sales engineering management experience β€’ Experience with Software Product sales; Infrastructure, SaaS β€’ Knowledge in one or more of these areas of expertise: IoT, Networking / Security, SaaS, Cloud Technologies, or Physical Security β€’ Strong technical and business acumen β€’ Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills β€’ Ability to partner with a broad coalition of stakeholders, ranging from sales, product, marketing, support, customer success and from individual contributors to executive team members across the organization β€’ Demonstrated leadership, creativity, and problem solving abilities β€’ Excellent presentation and organizational skills β€’ Business fluency in French or German β€’ Ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment β€’ Ability to travel as needed
