Description

• Own product development on large scope efforts from design through post-deployment support • Advocate for and implement security best practices in authentication and authorization logic. Influence the team roadmap in accordance with industry standards • Take ownership and/or lead the engineering responsibility for multiple components in a project • Work closely with cross functional partners both within and outside of engineering, incorporating and adapting to stakeholder feedback • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles as we scale globally and across new offices

Requirements

• 8+ years experience in a hands-on technical role • Mastery of programming/coding practices (Golang and/or Python preferred) • 1+ year experience in Identity and Access Management • 3+ years experience with CI/CD tools - GitHub Actions and/or BuildKite • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc) • Experience designing and architecting large, high-scale systems • A focus on and desire to mentor fellow engineers • An ability to estimate, communicate, and deliver upon project milestones with your team • Understanding of security weaknesses, exploits, attacks and mitigations
