Description
• Lead organization-wide projects and develop tools that improve deployment and orchestration • Architect and coordinate changes to essential production systems • Identify and guide prioritization of opportunities for improvement to our infrastructure • Contribute ideas and feedback to help teams improve processes and architecture • Increase visibility and knowledge of operational best practices • Act as a multiplier for the team • Influence the vision and roadmap for infrastructure • Represent Samsara in external-facing forums • Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience • 10+ years of experience on infrastructure-focused teams • Mastery of programming/coding practices • Expertise working with web services at massive scale deployed on Cloud providers such as AWS or Azure • Is an expert in writing high quality, performant and maintainable code in a modern programming language • Know your way around a UNIX shell and a Linux operating system
