📋 Description

• SANS Summits are the billboard for SANS as a thought leader on cybersecurity. • Responsible for raising awareness and interest for Summits across the EMEA region. • Work with the Summit team to turn EMEA Summits into a content development platform and revenue stream.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in: Marketing, Communications, Business or other related discipline. • Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in marketing, preferably in events, conferences or summits. • Demonstrable experience in strategizing, building and executing integrated marketing campaigns. • Experience of working with senior stakeholders and key relationship building. • Proven track record of creating and executing marketing campaigns for B2B or B2C events. • Knowledge of EMEA region and markets. • Experience with digital marketing, including email campaigns, paid advertising, SEO, and social media. • Familiarity with event management software, CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), and analytics platforms. • Experience in partnership marketing and sponsorship activation. • Ability to think creatively and strategically to be able to meet the organisations objectives of each Summit. • Analytical mindset with experience in tracking and reporting on marketing ROI. • Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal). • Highly organised and proficient at managing multiple projects at the same time. • Creative thinker, with a strong problem-solving approach. • Ability to adapt communication style to effectively engage diverse audiences and cultural backgrounds, ensuring clear and culturally sensitive messaging across all initiatives. • Results-driven and proactive in identifying opportunities for growth. • Team player with a collaborative mindset. • Passionate about events and creating engaging marketing experiences. • Strong knowledge of the events industry. • Ability to speak a modern European language (French, German, Spanish, Dutch). • Strong understanding of the cyber security sector, key trends, and audience demographics.
