Description

• Saviynt is an identity authority platform built to power and protect the world at work. • The Enterprise Identity Cloud gives customers unparalleled visibility, control and intelligence to better defend against threats. • As a Software Architect, you will lead the architecture for Saviynt’s SaaS platform and drive key technical decisions. • Collaborate with other architects and infrastructure team to design a multi-tenant product that scales on cloud providers like AWS and Azure. • Hands-on with designing and developing the deployment of containerized services at scale to cloud and Kubernetes platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent • Deep experience designing and building secure, scalable and reliable multi-tenant SaaS Architectures on Kubernetes in AWS and Azure • Hands-on experience in creating a reference architecture for docker and Kubernetes configuration and security best practices and implementing them • Hands-on experience provisioning Kubernetes clusters in AWS and Azure • Hands-on experience in designing and provisioning a secure cloud network, network peering, network routing, CNI, ingress and egress patterns, service mesh, mTLS, VPN • Hands-on experience in provisioning cloud platforms using an IaC stack like Terraform/Opentofu/Terragrunt, Helm chart, AWS CFT, Azure blueprint • Hands-on experience in provisioning and customizing cloud databases like AWS RDS/Aurora, Azure Database, Elasticsearch, Opensearch • Hands-on experience implementing DDoS, firewall protection layers • Extensive experience troubleshooting containerized JVM runtime issues like cpu starvation and OOM and driving to find a root cause • Experience in setting up or integrating with observability platforms like Datadog/Grafana • Experience in using CWPP and container endpoint security platforms like Wiz, Lacework • Hands-on experience in provisioning and using cloud storage devices like EFS, EBS, S3, Azure blob, archival and backup • Hands-on experience in designing and developing a reference architecture for CI and CD processes that includes testing IaC components • Architect-level knowledge of various JVM frameworks like spring-boot and grails • Hands-on experience coding in Python, Java • In-depth knowledge of how microservices get deployed and run in a Kubernetes platform like AWS EKS and/or Azure AKS • Extensive experience using Git • Hands-on experience architecting software that is cloud vendor agnostic • Hands-on experience implementing containerized microservice design patterns for reliability, resiliency and performance • Thorough knowledge of security principles and patterns of Authentication and Authorization, Single sign-on, and federation • Knowledge of SAML, OAuth, JWT, OTP etc is highly preferred • Experience in creating and reviewing a threat model • Knowledge of serverless architecture like AWS lambda/Azure functions • Knowledge of REST APIs and event-driven design patterns • Understanding of distributed architectural design, SOLID principles, Domain Driven Design principles • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum SDLC methodology • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with diverse global teams • The ability to inspire, mentor and encourage teams
