📋 Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps and Automation Engineer with a deep specialization in cybersecurity and IT infrastructure platforms to join our client services team. • This role focuses on enhancing our managed services offerings through automation of cybersecurity and IT infrastructure processes. • Design, implement, and manage automation scripts for routine tasks in cybersecurity and IT infrastructure management. • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and operations of software and security solutions. • Integrate security practices into DevOps workflows (DevSecOps) to ensure secure software development lifecycle. • Implement and automate security controls, monitoring, and incident response in cloud and on-premises environments. • Architect, deploy, and manage scalable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. • Optimize and secure network configurations, including cloud networks, VPNs, and firewalls. • Work closely with Sayers services clients to understand unique requirements and build innovative solutions to address. • Stay abreast of emerging technologies in automation, AI, cloud services, and cybersecurity. • Test and evaluate new platforms automation tools and services to improve efficiency, and consistency of our services offerings. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, performance, and security. • Document processes, configurations, and solutions for knowledge sharing and compliance purposes. • Integrate managed platforms into reporting systems for monitoring and executive reporting.

🎯 Requirements

• Proficient in Python, Go, or Bash for automation scripting. • Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions for CI/CD processes. • Expert in tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet for infrastructure management. • Strong understanding of Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment and orchestration. • Deep understanding of security best practices, including network security, application security, and data protection. • Familiarity with security tools like SIEM (e.g., Splunk, ELK Stack), vulnerability scanners, and IDS/IPS systems. • Familiarity with enterprise security platforms such as Check Point, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Aruba Networks, Cisco, etc. • Extensive experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) including their DevOps services and automation APIs. • Experience with microservices architecture, serverless computing, and API management. • Proficiency in version control systems like Git. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication abilities for effective team collaboration and client interaction. • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
