β€’ Oversee the implementation and maintenance of our dbt environment, ensuring best practices in model development, testing, and deployment β€’ Create, maintain, and enhance fact and dimension tables to support robust and scalable data models, enabling efficient and accurate data analysis β€’ Implement data validation and quality checks within ETL processes to ensure the integrity and reliability of data β€’ Work closely with data analysts, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient solutions β€’ Monitor and improve the performance of data pipelines and queries, ensuring scalability and efficiency as data volumes grow β€’ Maintain clear and concise documentation for data models, ETL processes, and data pipelines to ensure knowledge sharing and transparency across the team

Requirements

β€’ 5+ years of direct experience in data engineering or a related role β€’ Proven experience with dbt, including model development, testing, and deployment. β€’ Experience in designing and implementing data models, including the creation of fact and dimension tables β€’ Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing technologies (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift) β€’ Hands-on experience with Analytics software, ETL tools, and processes(e.g. FiveTran, AirByte, Tableau, data pipelines) β€’ Strong understanding of data modeling and warehousing concepts (star schema, snowflake schema, data lake, or data mart). β€’ Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and their data services. β€’ Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices. β€’ Previous experience in insurance or financial technology is a plus.
