Description

• Support the Department of Transportation and the public to ensure rail safety • Work with a talented team of data engineers on an enterprise level business intelligence system • Collect and analyze raw data and interpret trends in data sets • Build data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure tools utilizing SQL and Python • Create data models and build/present visualizations in Power BI • Use Azure Synapse Analytics as an enterprise analytics service • Work with customers on analysis requirements and data ingestion processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field • 5+ years experience as a data analyst • Proficiency in SQL and experience with other programming languages such as Python • Experience with ETL tools and processes • Experience with data modeling tools and techniques • Experience with Power BI • Experience in Azure Cloud using Azure Data Lake Services, Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, SQL Managed Instance etc. • Desired Experience utilizing Databricks • Experience with Collibra • Experience with Database Administration
