📋 Description

•Scholar Rock is a biopharmaceutical company that discovers, develops, and delivers life-changing therapies for people with serious diseases that have high unmet need. •Scholar Rock is the only company to show clinical proof of concept for a muscle-targeted treatment in spinal muscular atrophy (SMA). •This role will lead the development and execution of Global market access strategies and tactics – including drug distribution, value proposition, pricing, health technology assessment, cost-effectiveness and budget impact modeling, early access programs, and payer engagement/negotiation approach. •A successful candidate will have a track record of launching rare disease drugs in Europe.

🎯 Requirements

•Bachelors degree required. Advanced degrees in related healthcare fields a plus. •At least 10 years’ experience in Global or EU-country-level Market Access with a deep understanding of evolving European access, coverage, and reimbursement landscape. •Track record of success in working cross-functionally to achieve objectives (Marketing, Medical, HEOR, Finance, Key Account Management/Sales, Policy/Advocacy, etc.). •Strong understanding of Global market access strategy fundamentals: insights, strategy development, pricing & contracting, health technology assessments, early access programs, value proposition, impact on demand and GTN. •Strong understanding of ex-US national, regional, and local payers, decision making, processes/procedures, and data and reporting. •Rare disease, neuromuscular, hospital-administered/infusion experience strongly preferred. •Pre-launch experience at a biotechnology company preferred. •Independent, proactive problem solver with strong written/PowerPoint and verbal communication skills.
