Description

• Engage with school district leaders and educators to understand their data analytics needs and to educate diverse stakeholders on how to effectively use the dashboards to interpret data. • Design and develop customized metrics and dashboards. • Utilize SQL for database management and queries, ensuring accurate and accessible data solutions. • Build and maintain data integrations, using Python to automate processes and ensure smooth, accurate data flow between systems. • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the data dashboards by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving platform and data quality issues to ensure reliable reporting and effective data modeling. • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product to enhance the data platform.

Requirements

• Experience in working with educational data • Experience working with data visualization tools and dashboard design • Ability to translate complex data into digestible and actionable information • Advanced SQL skills • Experience with Python for data cleaning, analysis, and automation • Experience in data integration from multiple sources, including APIs and databases • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, for collaborative data projects • Experience working independently on projects • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Passion for education and improving educational outcomes • +4 years of experience as a data analyst, data engineer, or similar role
