Description

• Prepare and file accurate federal, state, and local tax returns for diverse clients. • Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize liabilities while ensuring full compliance with applicable regulations. • Conduct thorough analyses of financial records and transactions to ensure they meet tax requirements and prepare for audits. • Represent clients during tax audits, effectively communicating with tax authorities and providing comprehensive documentation. • Stay informed about changes in tax laws, advising clients on the impacts to their portfolio and opportunities for strategic adjustments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a strong foundation in taxation and financial reporting. • 3+ years of experience in tax accounting, including preparing tax returns and implementing tax planning strategies. • CPA certification or progress toward certification is preferred. • Proficiency in tax software (i.e. ProSystem fx, CCH) and advanced Excel skills. • A strong ability to analyze financial data and solve complex issues.
