Description

• Spalding Consulting, Inc. is seeking a IT Project Manager in Patuxent River, MD. • Spalding Consulting delivers solutions to the Department of Defense since 2001. • Lead and manage an application development team through AWS modernization. • Develop and maintain project plans in GitLab. • Identify and mitigate schedule and performance risks. • Report project progress and risks to leadership. • Liaise with customers and coordinate with technical teams for requirements. • Facilitate meetings to track progress and overcome blockers. • Participate in meetings, daily standups, and retrospectives. • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience as an IT project manager required. • Experience creating, coordinating, and tracking project schedules and tasking required. • Experience working in a DOD software development/IT environment required. • Experience working with a development team modernizing a legacy app and/or deploying to AWS required. • Experience working with a PM/CM tool like GitLab (preferred) or TFS desired. • AWS and PMP or Scrum Master certifications highly desired. • Must be eligible to obtain a secret clearance; active or interim secret is preferred.
